Board Meetings - Open Attendance

The Vermont Mental Health Counselor's Association meets the 2nd Thursday every other month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Montpelier at Don Rhoades' office. At these meetings, the Board discusses issues related to the profession, current and past conferences, and develops ongoing and new projects for the organization. Anyone is free to attend.

Directions: Don Rhoades' office is located at 138 Main Street, Montpelier. It is two doors down from the Unitarian Church which is on the corner of School and Main and across from the library. Don's office is on the first floor. Contact Caryn Feinberg for additional info.

Council of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Professionals:

The Allied Mental Health Counselors Group, previously known as the President's Council meets the first Thursday of each month at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Montpelier. Representatives from Psychiatrist, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Psychologists and Drug and Alcohol Counselors meet to discuss and make decisions regarding legislative issues, issues with insurance companies and anything else that is relevant to promoting and protecting our interests.

We present a united front in identifying our common needs and working together. We invite representatives from Banking and Insurance, Managed Care companies, and other relevant fields to become educated and educate them about our needs and concerns.
