Opening for post grad volunteers seeking supervised licensure hours

The Johnson State College Counseling Center would welcome post-grad applicants who are seeking part-time volunteer hours in a college counseling center clinical setting. We can be very flexible in scheduling 1-3 days a week M-F. Volunteers receive one hour of individual and one and a half hours of group supervision weekly. This is a great small group practice, the clients bring a diversity of backgrounds, strengths and concerns. Supervision is Integrative including Psychodynamic, Analytic, Attachment based, Cognitive-Behavioral, and will include Motivational Enhancement, and Solution Focused coaching as appropriate. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

We also have room for 1-2 more Interns – though some clinical experience is a must. There is also opportunity for those seeking to gain experience in prevention work.
